World Vision Micro Launch
Today World Vision launched it's World Vision Micro site. The Kiva style site is designed to connect individual lenders with microfinance clients in the developing world who are in need of funding for their small business ideas.
The World Vision loans range from $50 to $5,000 and run on a 90 day loan cycle. The repayment rate for their global microfinance programs is at 98.7%.
Furthermore, all borrowers on the World Vision Micro site come from existing World Vision development projects, have developed business plans, and have been pre-approved to receive micro loans.
