Harnessing Student Potential In Microfinance

Increasing MFI Capital Through Business Partnership - the Good Returns Model

Under a new and innovative business model, for-profits and non-profits can work together to dramatically increase the capital pool available to nonprofit MFIs. The model is called Good Returns: a business agrees to invest its profits each year for a one-year period into MFIs in the form of an interest-free loan. It's a "win-win-win-win" for the business, customers, MFI, and the MFI clients.

I started the first Good Returns model company one year ago, Soap Hope. Soap Hope sells all natural bodycare products online at http://soaphope.com. Since that time we have recruited two more businesses to the Good Returns model, and many more are awaiting the results of this business/social experiment.

If you know any small or mid-sized businesses who would like to explore partnerships with MFIs, please point them to me.

Salah

Sounds like a great model. If I hear or think of anyone, I will let you know.
