Last night was rough. There is no other way to say it. I do not consider myself to be a light sleeper in any sense of the word, but I woke up at every slight noise. Two Dollar Challenge: Day 1



Perusing the aisles of Bottom Dollar was the easy part, and so was purchasing the bags of beans and

packs of ramen, but knowing that this was all I would be eating for the rest of the week was a bit of a concern. I have gone hungry before. InVenture Fund: A New Model for Social Change

I recently had the opportunity to attend a talk given by the intrepid Shivani Siroya, the CEO and co-founder of a new social start-up called InVenture Fund, with the motto “Enabling a new class of investors to put their money to work to change the world”. Founded in October of 2009, a mere 6 months ago, InVenture already has three pilot programs in Mali, India and Ghana and plans to start two more this summer in Mexico and Detroit.
