Yesterday we had a lecture in our University with Eduardo Ferreira about the Microcredit that Banco Unibanco works with.
It was amazing. Lot´s of people could change their lives and upgrade (people who are not anymore microcredit´s customer and have grown).
I´m so happy that what our Projeto Tombo is doing can make a small diference in the hole world, but a big difference for the person. And that is the most important thing: win the small and then win the big.

Today, at 18h30, fortunately we´ll have a big dance presentation about "Waiting for Godot". This is one more thing that our Project Tombo prepared for the students.
This show will make them think about what they are waiting for... And realise them that SOMETHING must be done. Small actions can make big differences. Let´s think about LIFE.

"Sometimes I describe poor people as the bonsai tree. If you take the seed of tallest tree in the forest and put it in a flower pot, it grows only as big as the pot will let it. There's nothing wrong with the seed; simply we plant it in the wrong place. The poor people are bonsai people. There's nothing wrong with their seed. Simply society never allowed them the space to grow." - Dr. Muhammad Yunus
Would you want to blog about the microfinance pilot project that you're working on? It would be really cool to share what you've learned and for others to read a first-hand account.
I hope this site provides useful information for you!

Projeto Tombo looks really awesome. How are you involved with it? I'll be honest, my Spanish isn't really that great, but I got the sense that Tombo incorporates art and music, right? Do you use these to support microfinance as well?
Anyway, hope you enjoy the site. Please feel free to send any feedback or suggestions.
Best,
Haley
