Why are you here?
To meet others who are dedicated to ending poverty. To share my expertise in developing sustainability for nonprofits. To raise awareness of our Good Returns model in which for-profit enterprises leverage their resources to power sustainable nonprofits.
What are you currently working on?
My company Soap Hope at soaphope.com invests 100% of its profits into MFIs that provide microloans for women around the world. We call our model Good Returns. I have a personal goal of recruiting 1,000 small- to mid-sized businesses to the Good Returns model in which profits and corporate resources are invested into MFIs, in order to end poverty worldwide.

Increasing MFI Capital Through Business Partnership - the Good Returns Model

Under a new and innovative business model, for-profits and non-profits can work together to dramatically increase the capital pool available to nonprofit MFIs. The model is called Good Returns: a business agrees to invest its profits each year for a one-year period into MFIs in the form of an interest-free loan. It's a "win-win-win-win" for the business, customers, MFI, and the MFI clients.
