Christian, one of the other boys I work with on the site, just made a great suggestion. He thought you guys could start a LSE Group on the site as a base for some of your discussions and conversations and also as a resource for you guys, so that entering the school year you could pull more LSE kids onto the site and have a way of communicating internally.
Emma, that's awesome that you're focusing on sustainability. I'm actually reading sustainable development at St. Andrews and have been curious about how MFIs would rate across all areas of SD. Definitely, get your team on board. I'm excited to keep up with your work, and let me know how MFI Connect can help support your online presence.
Hi Emma
This is Naren from India.... Would like to more about u and ur work.. My e-mail is narendran31@gmail.com and would like to have u as my contact. Looking forward to have u as my contact....
Emma, you have just made my day! Research, microfinance, london, positive feedback on the site and spreading the word - haha, what more could I ask for?? I'd love to learn about the areas you're researching and to connect up with the LSE groups. Right now we're working on the technology behind creating an online "library" where we would definitely want to publish/post student work. Would you be interested in contributing your content? Until then, would you be able to blog about your work and contribute critical questions you come across on the forum?
Hope all's well and can't wait to hear more about what you're doing.
I am glad to see another British student joining to Forum. I am at University of St. Andrews, where we've just set up a microfinance society. Is there much microfinance activity at UCL? How did you learn about it?
I am trying to get a better sense of microfinance's presence in Britain, so that we can really reach out to them and incorporate everyone on this webpage. On that note, please also feel free to send any feedback or suggestions regarding The Microfinance Forum. It's a work in progress.
