In partnership with The Aspen Institute, Lend for America is a new program for students to spend the summer building a better country through innovative microfinance. Students spend the summer in a peer learning environment at a leading microfinance organization to gain hands-on experience with domestic microfinance. Part way through the summer, interns travel to a large-scale microfinance organization in the US for a 3 day site visit. After the summer, we work with the student leader to start a new Campus MFI. Interns receive a $2500 stipend and all travel expenses are paid.

MFI Connect is looking for a capable web-designer who is passionate about being a part of the world's largest student microfinance network. By tightening up the website and helping with the user-interface, we can make it easier for students to connect to Microfinance opportunities and support the industry.

Living on One Dollar Strategy Intern

Living on One Dollar takes you on an interactive media journey into poverty by following the experience of 4 college students trying to live on just one dollar a day for 8 weeks. The intern will work closely with Chris and Zach on the project. His or her responsibilities will include writing Grant applications, filming events, tweeting new content, and helping create distribution plans for the documentary.
