** see jamii bora become a world class partner/lab for any african challenge that can only be resolved by micro up community empowerment - eg I believe end malaria can only be done that way

job implications: currently usa spends nearly a billion dollars on malaria funding top-down jobs;
I believe that most of that money needs reallocating both to community jobs and some sort of village nurses/teachers sans frontieres that particularly focuses on prevention and diagnosis locally and with a first focus on infants and children; not having visted kenya yet I would be particularly interested to know if the membership health insurance with missionary hospitals that jamii bora has already designed helps or hinders this extreme outreach stage and whether mobiles can help in the way that grameen solutions ceo envisions will be possible soon in bangladesh
