Hello Everybody,

It is great to see how many members are united to promote microfinancing. Here at Zidisha, we believe that university students play the most important role in making the benefits of microfinancing known to the general public. We are currently a small non-profit organization containing only a dozen volunteers. This small size means that you will be able to have tremendous impact upon our organization. Students will be able to interact directly with Zidisha, developing ways to promote us through innovative techniques. Zidisha is still currently searching for interns to lead our grassroots campaign aimed at informing and recruiting more lenders/volunteers. Zidisha is a revolutionary P2P microfinancing community, that has cut interest rates to borrowers by more than 4 times of the global average, 8.3% compared to +/- 37%. Make great contacts, build your resume, and change the world!

Interns will be responsible for innovating new techniques to recruit lenders and additional marketing volunteers. You will have a lot of flexibility to innovate approaches. Your responsibilities will be to:

Create presentations, informational documents, assist social networking, community outreach, and most importantly being creative to get the word of Zidisha out to a new pool of lenders.
