Institute for Financial Management and Research (IFMR), Chennai, India has a dedicated research centre called Centre for Microfinance. Apart from research projects, they also have courses and workshops on Microfinance.

Tata-Dhan Academy, a development management institute in India promoted by DHAN Foundation in colloboration with Sir Ratan Tata Trust. The Academy runs a two years programme in development management and also various short term courses on development and Microfinance in particular. www.dhan.org/tda
