SeaMo and UW’s Global Business Center host Terry Provance, the Executive Director of Oikocredit USA, one of the world’s largest microfinance investment vehicles.
He will address the grassroots approach to poverty alleviation known as microfinance, and how this development strategy establishes relationships of equity, rather than dependence.
This event is co-sponsored by the Center for Global Studies and the Department of Global Health at UW.
